Created by the founders of Icebreaker, Animals Like Us is a New Zealand-based pet food brand on a mission to nurture the relationship between animals and their people. I’ve had the pleasure of working with the team since their early startup days, helping to illustrate their furry characters as they’ve grown into a household name.

Over the years, our collaboration has covered many creative touchpoints - from designing social media content and high-energy videos to creating drawings for their packaging. To date, I have designed over 100 unique, quirky dogs (and a few cats!) to represent the diverse community of pets the brand serves.

Being part of their evolution from the beginning has been incredibly rewarding. It’s a brand I truly believe in, and I’ve loved seeing their playful, heart-led identity come to life across so many different mediums.
